Lindsay Lohan’s dad attacks once more. And daughter strikes back, of course.

The controversial actress is hitting out at her frequently alienated father, Michael, who has broken the silence in what concerns his opinion of Samantha Ronson.

“He has become a public embarrassment and a bully – to my family, my co-workers, my friends and a girl that means the world to me,” Lindsay Lohan wrote on her MySpace page, explaining that she felt “betrayed.”

Lindsay’s statements came after her dad criticized Samantha Ronson in the media.

“I’ve shut up about this long enough,” he told E! News. “She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest,” he added.

On the other hand, Lindsay claims that her dad knows nothing about what’s going on in her life and that Samantha would never betray her.

In addition to this, Samantha Ronson gave her own reply to Michael Lohan’s accusations. She wrote on MySpace that Lindsay’s father was the only one responsible for the fact that he had no contact with his daughter, adding that he was in desperate need for attention striving to turn to the media “whenever possible.”

According to MTV UK, the DJ said she would always be there for Lindsay, explaining that she has no plans in writing a memoir.
