Paula Abdul’s clumsiness made another appearance over the weekend, as the American Idol judge allegedly tripped on her Chihuahua, smashing her nose as she hit the ground.

The American Idol judge, who was trying to avoid stepping on her tiny pet dog named Tulip, ended up falling flat on her face on Saturday.

"I took a nasty fall trying not to hurt my dog. I bruised myself on my arm, my chest, my waist all the way down to my hip. All from my little chubby Tulip. Tulip has no remorse. She just stared at me,” Paula told American Show Extra.

David Brokaw, Paula’s rep, said: "Paula went to the doctor and she did break her nose, but she's moving on and doing great. She is in pain. No question about that. But you'd never know anything happened to her. There are no bandages. She's got some bruises on her arms and on one of her legs."

"Tulip is fine. For dogs, every day is Saturday."

She wasn’t hospitalized which could indicate that she will take her seat on the judging panel for the American Idol’s big finale, where Jordin Sparks, 17, will compete against Blake Lewis, 25, to become the sixth American Idol.

The broken nose is just one of Paula’s latest freak accident. Some of her mishaps include accusations of slurred speech and swaying on stage and even an inappropriate off-stage relationship with a 2003 Idol contestant.
