So, Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler might not be getting back together after all, despite recent rumors, at least that's what a post on Barker's MySpace page is suggesting.
Three weeks after surviving a fatal plane crash, Travis Barker took on his MySpace blog on Saturday to thank his fans and everyone else who helped him through the difficult time post-plane crash.
"I want to give my deepest thanks to everyone who has helped deal with the current situation," Barker, who sustained second- and third-degree burns from the crash, wrote on his MySpace page.
He also paid a tribute to Chris Baker and Charles "Che" Still, both employees and friends of his who were killed along with two pilots in the Sept. 19 Learjet crash.
"I would give up anything to have them here with us today, healthy and happy," he wrote.
As far as his recovery is concerned, the musician said it's been a slow process, as he's been "coming up on the 7th of my surgeries Monday," but he is eager to return home, and see his children again. Barker also said he was in high spirits after seeing DJ AM, who, along with Barker, was the only survivor in the Sept. 19 crash.
"I got to see AM the other day. Seeing him after he was discharged was an inspiration," Barker wrote. "I saw just how awesome the doctors' work here is, and got to see how well he is doing. I am so happy to see him doing well, and we are both so lucky and grateful that we are alive today."
Addressing media speculation that she hadn't left his side since the accident, and that the two might be reuniting upon this tragedy, Barker sorted things out saying, "Despite any rumors you might have heard via my EX-wife Shanna Moakler, who I have not seen since the week I checked in, I've been treated amazingly well, both here in LA and an Georgia. The hospitals I've been treated at are THE BEST."
