The former "Beverly Hills 90210" star announced that she is a freshly ordained minister and has already performed a same-sex marriage ceremony at her Fallbrook inn over the weekend.
"This weekend Chateau La Rue had its very first wedding," Spelling wrote Monday on her MySpace blog. "I was so honored when the couple asked me to officiate. We did it on the front steps of the Chateau as 40 of their friends looked on seated in a lounge-like atmosphere. It was so beautiful as I united Tony and Dex as life partners in love."
The 34-year-old actress revealed on her MySpace page that she is "now officially ordained! Yep, that's right - Reverend Tori Spelling!
"I did it last week online and my official certificate is in the mail," she wrote in her Tuesday’s post, although she did not specify to which church she is attached. “I’m so proud. I can’t wait to hang it."
Apparently, Spelling, who runs Chateau La Rue with husband Dean McDermott, admitted she was "beyond nervous" as she performed the commitment ceremony.
"I've done live theater and presented at the Emmys but this was by far my scariest moment simply because they had bestowed such an honor upon me and I didn't want to let them down.
"Love is pure and true, love knows no gender. I've found it, Tony and Dex have found it, and I wish love to all that seek it. Don't ever let anyone tell you who to love. Only our hearts can dictate that."
