Actor James
Gandolfini and fiancée Deborah Lin were married on Saturday in Honolulu, Lin’s hometown. Gandolfini,
46, and Lin, 40, exchanged vows in Central Union Church, being surrounded by
white lilies and rhododendrons.
The intimate 20-minute ceremony gathered their families and closest friends
only. Gandolfini's 8 year old son, from his first marriage with Marcy Wudarsk
which ended in 2002, served as his best man.
Lin, a former model, walked up the aisle in a white gown
made of Italian lace in the sound of the "Hawaiian Wedding Song.” The
groom wore a beautiful tuxedo.
A source told People Magazine: "There was a
nice big kiss at the end with both hands on the cheeks. They looked
great." The wedding reception hosted 200 guests. People also revealed that the food served included lobster, pork and
seafood hors d’oeuvres, Ahi tuna, Chinese roasted duck breast over angel hair
pasta and steamed bok choy, broiled Mahi Mahi, filet mignon, and tiramisu.
The two first went public with their relationship in March
2007 at a New York City
premiere for the end of the popular HBO series, and have been engaged since
late 2007.
“The Sopranos”
debuted in 1999. Until now, he has won three Emmys for "Best Actor in a
Drama" for his depiction of New Jersey Mafia boss Tony Soprano, an aging baby
boomer who constantly questions his own identity and purpose. Gandolfini ended
up gaining $1,000,000 per episode in the series.
After acting on Broadway, Gandolfini made his film debut in
the 1993 romantic thriller “True
Romance.”
