Talking for the first time since he and his wife, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria, were the focus of an infidelity scandal, basketball player Tony Parker revealed that he was "shocked" by the accusations, calling the people who spread the rumors "wicked."
"It's the most bizarre episode in my life," the 25-year old San Antonio Spurs star told Le Parisien.
In December last year, Parker and Longoria became the focus of an internet scandal just several months after their July wedding, when a model alleged she and Parker were having an affair after they were introduced by a common friend at his wedding to Longoria.
Once again, the San Antonio Spurs star denied the claims and also started legal proceedings against the bosses of Los Angeles news and photo agency X17online.com, where the allegations initially surfaced.
"I've never hired an attorney in my life, and then all of a sudden, in two weeks, there's three totally false charges brought out. What shocked me the most was the wickedness of people. Without doubt, I'm going to have to protect myself a little more."
At the time of the scandal, Longoria proved herself to be a good wife and stood by his side, calling him "nothing short of the perfect husband."
Parker also put an end to the baby rumors surrounding his wife lately, confirming she’s not expecting yet.
"Not for the moment. Eva and I talk about it but with our careers it isn't the right moment," he said. "Right now, we're enjoying the young married life. Because of the writers' strike, Eva has spent a lot of the last three months with me in San Antonio. When she's working, we see each other less."
Parker and the 32-year-old actress got married on July 7 in Paris during a lavish a ceremony in front of guests such as Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Jamie Foxx, Lionel Richie and Longoria’s "Desperate Housewives" co-stars.
