Toni Braxton in Vegas Hospital, Possible Heart Attack

Worldwide known R&B singer Toni Braxton was reportedly admitted in a Las Vegas hospital and there are speculations that she suffered a heart attack.

The singer known for her husky alto voice was admitted to St. Rose Dominican Hospital last night. She was rushed to the hospital after she performed in a show at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.

She is in good condition, Vegas.com wrote on its Web site. However, hospital officials didn’t provide details on why she is there.

The R&B singer who won six Grammy Awards and has sold over forty million records worldwide found out that she was suffering from pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart, after she gave birth to her second son, a spokeswoman for the American Heart Association said.

Braxton’s tomorrow show (Toni Braxton: Revealed) will most likely be canceled. A confirmation is expected to be made this afternoon. Ticket holders are advised to contact the Flamingo about the singer’s Wednesday night show.

Braxton, who ironically wrote and sang "Un-Break My Heart" which became the second biggest single by a female artist ever, is the spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.

Braxton’s most successful albums were the 1993 self-titled debut album with which she topped the Billboard and the second album entitled "Secrets" which spawned the number one hit "Un-Break My Heart".

Until the supposed heart attack she was also working on her sixth studio album.
