Famous
actor Tom Cruise recently admitted that he had been wrong to proclaim his love
for wife Katie Holmes on Oprah Winfrey’s talk-show by jumping up and down on
the guest sofa, letting the whole world know that he was head over heels in
love with the actress.
Back in
2005, invited on Oprah’s show, Tom Cruise spent almost the entire interview
sofa-leaping and telling everybody that he loved a “magnificent” woman.
Now, the Top
Gun star says he has realized he went a bit too far at that time, adding though
that he has learned from his mistakes.
Nevertheless,
he stated that he would never cease proclaiming his love for wife Katie Holmes
and their daughter Suri, as well as for his adopted children with ex-wife
Nicole Kidman.
Cruise and
Holmes began dating in 2005, while on June 17 that same year the actor revealed
he had proposed to Katie at the top of the Eiffel
Tower in Paris.
The two then got married one year later, on November 18, in Bracciano, Italy.
Some months before that, on April 18, Katie Holmes gave
birth to the couple’s first child, a baby girl named Suri, which is the Hebrew
word for „princess.”
Before marrying Holmes, Cruise, 46, was married to fellow actress
Nicole Kidman, whom he met on the set of their film „Days of Thunder.” Their marriage lasted 11
years, from December 1990 to August 2001, during which time the couple adopted
two children, Isabella Jane and Connor Antony.
