Tina Fey seems to be on fire as her gig on “Saturday Night
Live” impersonating vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has helped the show
receive the highest ratings in years. Tina Fey just feels so natural when in
the skin of governor Palin, which makes the entire performance even more
delicious and helped by some clever texts and good political satire, no wonder
the gig is a hit. As the popularity of Tina Fey rises many people wonder if
this can help her other projects receive higher ratings and better reviews.
More specifically, people wonder if the TV comedy “30 Rock” produced, written
and in which Tina Fey appears will receive a boost of popularity because of the
success of Fey’s gig on “Saturday Night Live.”
Considering that “30 Rock” isn’t a bad show, being flavored by the smart
writing and performance of Tina Fey, some wonder why the show received such low
ratings in the first place. The TV comedy has won different prizes for its
quality, including several Emmys. “30 Rock” has the potential to be an instant
hit as it follows the recipe for a good show almost to perfection: clever,
subtle jokes, awards and star power. With the increased popularity of Tina Fey
and with the already notorious Alec Baldwin, the show has all the potential to
be very popular.
The first episode of the new “30 Rock” series will be launched on November 6th
and its viewers are in for some surprises as on the guest star list we can find
people such as Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston or Steve Martin.
