As the
week-end approaches, everybody’s wondering whether Tina Fey will be back for
another Saturday Night Live (SNL) round of doing Sarah Palin, the GOP’s
vice-presidential nominee.
So far, her
three appearances on the show have turned out to be major hits with viewers,
Fey’s performance leaving them wanting more.
Nevertheless,
asked if she would be taking on the Alaska governor again this week, Tina Fey
said she had not heard anything concerning the matter from the NBC television
network, which broadcasts the SNL show.
So
everybody has to wait and see if Fey will be serving the audience some more spot-on
comedy on Saturday night or if her Palin saga has come to an untimely end.
Moreover,
Tina Fey has stated that in case Republican John McCain and his running-mate in
the 2008 United States elections Sarah Palin won, she
would no longer impersonate the latter on SNL, since a four-year gig with the
show would be too much for her. Still, she explained that what she actually meant
was that she was leaving Earth if the GOP got more votes than the Democrats.
Tina Fey,
38, who is an American writer, comedian, actress and producer, is best
known due to her work as a Saturday Night Live cast-member, as well as for her
work on the „30 Rock” sitcom.
Recently, she has been reported to have been offered $6 million to write a book
comprising humorous essays, for which she has allegedly signed a contract with
the Little, Brown & Company publishing house.
