“30 Rock,” the comedy broadcast by NBC, written and produced by Tina Fey won three Golden Globes on Sunday night for Best TV Comedy, Best Comedy Actress and Actor for her and her co-star, Alec Baldwin.
Fey won a great amount of publicity this year, which had also brought her an Emmy. She managed to reach a nationwide audience for her satirical interpretations of the Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
But during her acceptance speech on Sunday, Fey couldn’t help to tell the anonymous hackers who posted some mean message on the Internet, BabsonLacrosse, DianeFan (Cougar Letter), to “suck it!” But it didn’t matter how famous Fey was and how many fans does she have, because the people she had offended answered back.
And that was how DianeFan went to the Los Angeles Times’ Gold Derby Forums and wrote that she was famous too and Fey didn’t make such a great job by mentioning BabsonLacrosse too, because she didn’t deserve to win anyway. When DianeFan found out about the words Fey used to describe her, she said that she didn’t think she was a clown at all.
As Gawker announced, the battle between DianeFan, BabsonLacrosse and Tina Fey has been going on for several months, since the former “Saturday Night Live” star started her take on former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. DianeFan also posted a comment in September, saying that she believed there could have been other good choices instead of Tina and gave examples of Megan Mullally, Sarah Silverman, Teri Hatcher and Shannen Doherty.
Later on, DianeFan, also known as Cougar-letter, stated that Fey would play an awful role as the host of the Golden Globes. After she found out Fey had been nominated for the Oscars, DianeFan reportedly said that she hoped the awards would go to someone else.
