The iPhone Gets a New Program, Ocarina

Apple announced in March, 2008, that it will create an online app store for its iPhone. Since then, there have been 15,000 programs introduced as to be used with the iPhone.

Their originality and great style made it hard for the iPhone fans to choose the best program that fits them. One of these magnificent programs is Ocarina, which could become one of the best packages ever made for the iPhone and for any computer. Named after the old clay wind instrument, Ocarina was even created to represent such an instrument.

As soon as you install the program on your iPhone, the screen shows four colored circles which have different sizes. You have to cover these circles with your fingers as if you were playing on a flute and after you blow into the microphone on the bottom of the iPhone, the magical sound of the wind instrument comes out of the speaker.

You can even make different sound combinations, depending on how you press the circles. Ocarina has quickly became one of the most popular programs for the iPhone as many fans have posted video clips on You Tube, showing the music they have created with the help of this package.

Smule.com, the official page of the software, has recently posted some sheet-music pages that contain famous songs played on the Ocarina. The microphone, speaker, tilt sensor and the touch screen are all used by the new package specially designed to offer new entertainment means for the iPhone fans.

In addition, even the GPS function of the iPhone is used by Ocarina. If the person who uses the iPhone presses the little globe at the bottom of the screen, he will see the map of the world and another person who plays the phone’s Ocarina at that very moment.

Ocarina, which cost $1 apiece, has attracted a lot of iPhone users in just a few months.
