The Two Boys Killed in Terrible Car Crash Might Have Been Brothers

Authorities reported on Thursday that three boys got killed after they had run away from the police in a car that landed over a wall and ended up in the front yard of a home in Fontana, which is a city in San Bernardino County at 50 miles of downtown Los Angeles. The California Highway Patrol said in a statement that the driver was only 15 years old.

Together with the passenger of 11 years old, the driver was thrown out of the car when the vehicle hit the brick wall enclosing the wall. Another 9-year-old boy died in the accident. He was wearing a seat belt and was sitting on the back seat. He died at the Arrowhead regional medical center.

The name of the boys hadn’t been released yet. The statement also said that a police officer had pulled over the Nissan Maxima after he had seen it running a red light on Sierra Avenue near the 210 Freeway on Wednesday a few minutes after 9 p.m. Yet, the 15-year-old driver sped off while the officer walked toward the car.

The officer started chasing the car for less than a minute, a time during which the driver ran many red lights and reached 90 mph on the streets of the city. He then lost the control of the vehicle and entered the wall.

The authorities said that five people were inside the home that the car entered into, but none of them got injured or killed.

The 15-year-old driver might have been the brother of the 9-year-old who was sitting on the back seat, according to a statement released by the authorities today. Officer Joe Ramos of the California Highway Patrol stated that all of them lived in Fontana. Ramos added that the Nissan Maxima is owned by one of their parents.
