The Screen Actors Guild Announces Nominations

The Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations have been announced. The 14th edition of the prestigious award show saw Into the Wild snatching four nominations. They are best actor for Emile Hirsch, supporting actor for Hal Holbrook, supporting actress for Catherine Keener, and a fourth nod for ensemble cast. Into the Wild, the story of a young man's trip into the wilderness of Alaska, was the only film to boast nominations for a lead-acting performance as well as best ensemble cast.

Michael Clayton came in second with three nods, with a lead actor nomination for George Clooney and supporting nominations for Tom Wilkinson and Tilda Swinton. No Country for Old Men shared the second place, nabbing supporting actor nominations for Javier Bardem and Tommy Lee Jones as well as an ensemble nod.
