The famous singer, Aretha Franklin, was forced to postpone
her concert in Detroit
because of the heat.
"I am exhausted from the heat and cannot tolerate heat
in these extremely high numbers and being in concert simultaneously," Franklin said in a
statement.
The 65-year-old star had planned to appear on Sunday at Detroit’s DTE Energy
Music Theater. A new date has not been set for the concert.
Surnamed The Oueen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, who is famous
for hits like "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Respect", “I
Say A Little Prayer”, “Chain of Fools” and "Think" was born in Memphis, but she spent the last 25 years in Detroit.
Aretha Franklin plans to release this year a new album,
called “A Woman Falling Out Of Love” under her own company label, Aretha
Records.
