The Jonas Brothers Are Taking Their Career to a Different Level

Approximately a year ago, teenage heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers served as an opening act for Miley Cyrus throughout her Best of Both Worlds tour. However, things have changed a bit and the three siblings are taking their career to a different level already.

Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas are starring in their very own concert film, “Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience,” which is scheduled to open on Friday.

While last night’s premiere of the production at the El Capitan Theatre, which is located across Hollywood Boulevard from the Academy Awards’ home at the Kodak Theatre, was the gathering scene of hundreds of excited fans, this weekend is certain to bring millions of aficionados in theatres.

Miley Cyrus’ picture of her concert tour, “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Tour” grossed $65 million domestically, including an overwhelming $31 million for the opening weekend. Although the teenage star won’t be making an appearance in the Jonas Brothers’ movie, her fellow singer Grammy Award-winning friend Taylor Swift has taken part in several scenes, as middle brother Joe Jonas and the country singer dated for a period of time during filming.

In spite of the fact that Miley Cyrus has recently received three Kids Choice Awards nominations, for favorite actress (“Hannah Montana”), favorite singer and favorite movie voice (“Bolt”), she failed to land a nod for her concert film. At the upcoming kids awards, the Jonas Brothers are fighting for best group against Daughtry, Linkin Park and the Pussycat Dolls.
