Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have a happy family – happy and, most of all, big. So far, the couple has Maddox Chivan Thornton Jolie-Pitt, adopted from Cambodia by Angelina and Billy Bob Thornton in 2001, and by Brad in 2006. Then there’s Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, adopted by Angelina from Ethiopia in 2005 and by Brad in 2006. Afterwards, Angelina and Brad had a baby together, beautiful Shiloh Nouvel (Jolie-Pitt), to whom Angelina gave birth in 2006, in the Cottage Medi-Clinic Hospital in Namibia. After her birth, the couple adopted Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt in 2007. Following this adoption, Angelina gave birth to twins, Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt, in 2008. So far, the couple has a total of six children, which they have stated they love and treat the same.
Their love of children and their desire to put their fortune to good use have led the couple to consider adopting more children. Half-joking, Angelina said in a Today interview that the children are already used to more kids being brought into the household. According to her statements, her children are in no way jealous of one another. Luckily the couple has shared values, making disciplining the children an easier task than if they weren’t on the same page. Regarding their constant moving around from city to city, country to country and even changing continents, Angelina said that the children were enjoying the changes of scenery, but they were considering settling down when the kids grow older. The couple thinks that teaching their children to adapt to conditions and cultures is very important to their future transition into adulthood.
The stunning actress was reserved on giving details regarding her and her husband’s adoption plans. She spoke about her new movie, Changeling, a story about a mother whose child is abducted and who is given another child by the police. Being a protective mother, the actress saw the role as a challenge for her, and she carried out the role with the professionalism she has gotten us used to, considering the scenes that were released for the public.
