Both "Hills" stars, Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, responded to rumors that Conrad hooked up with her former roommate's on/off boyfriend Justin Bobby.

Brace yourselves as more drama unfolds in the fake "Hills" universe. Recent reports suggested that Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge stopped talking to each other after Conrad allegedly betrayed her best friend by hooking up with her boyfriend.

"When confronted, Justin admitted to Audrina that he and L.C. hooked up," a source was quoted by famous celebrity blogger Perez Hilton as saying. This isn't the first time when L.C. and Audrina hit a rough patch. Justin supposedly hit on Lauren during a summer beach bash in Malibu.
 
Responding to the rumors, Lauren denied any involvement with Justin Bobby, telling In Touch magazine, "These accusations are so crazy, it's difficult for me to take them seriously," adding, "While my usual taste in guys isn't always perfect, I do prefer they shower regularly."

Moreover, she wrote a post on her MySpace blog suggesting that it might have been Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag's boyfriend who spread the rumors in the first place. "The worst thing is knowing that a friend, that I've known for years and even shared a home with, thinks that I'm capable of that kind of betrayal. I would never hurt a friend like that!"

Patridge went to her official blog to vent about the rumors about the supposed stab in the back saying: "I'm not sure what to believe," she wrote. "Though Justin and I have not been exclusive for quite some time, these rumors are very confusing and hurtful."

In his defense, Pratt told Usmagazine.com that it wasn't him who spread the rumors, and just resumed to saying he saw it coming, that L.C. would choose to try and blame something on him.

"The truth is I was asked about this yesterday and chose to say absolutely nothing out of respect for Audrina's feelings. Why LC continues to bring me up whenever she gets into trouble is beyond me," Pratt said.
