“The Hills” season finale on Tuesday night brought nothing unanticipated. The only thing that came as a surprise was that not even Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt did something out-of-the-ordinary. Elements that usually spice up the show were absent and one had to do with a little less catfight.

 

In keeping with the holiday spirit, Lauren and Heidi made up. In spite of the fact that they are not BFFs yet, Lauren decided to put everything behind them after listening to Heidi, who opened up about the family problems generated by her already popular elopement.

After a long talk, the two hugged and shed a couple of tears as they said they had missed each other. Lauren and Heidi looked really calmed and pleased and the former escaped another season finale without being killed by one of her girl enemies.

 

Justin Bobby offered Audrina a ring and although she thought about his cheating on her with Lauren, Audrina forgave Justin Bobby once again. He took her to Palm Springs and they spent another romantic day reminding them of the cheating that is yet to come.

 

Spencer Pratt also took on a hero role. Despite the fact that he and Heidi were on the verge of getting married in a Los Angeles courthouse following their Cabo fake wedding, Spencer stopped the ceremony and told his bride-to-be that they should wait for the right moment to come and organize a traditional wedding that could be attended by their families as well. What’s wrong with Spencer? Is it another lie? We have to wait so as to find out.

 

Thus, “The Hills” season finale left us either bored to death or longing for more. I’d rather stay put to the first category.
