Excerpts from Bobby Brown’s new book, “Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But…,” were presented yesterday in the New York Post. Whitney’s ex husband seems to have gathered a lot of baggage during the 15-year-long marriage.

Among other subjects, the singer explains that his first run-in with cocaine was only after meeting Whitney and by no means the other way around and that their initial motivations for the marriage were completely different.

"I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice," Brown writes according to the NY Post. He also explains that while his agenda on the marriage only involved loving, being loved and children, Whitney’s plan was to cease all speculations on an alleged involvement of hers with a female assistant from that time.

Other chapters give details on Bobby’s relationships prior to marrying Whitney Houston, including Janet Jackson and Madonna and also shines light on his controversial past infidelity problems, claiming: "Women are always throwing themselves at you. I'm only human, so I would make the mistake and bite the hook sometimes. I let the testosterone take over," as quoted by People.

Whitney responded through her spokesperson, affirming to be "sad that Bobby feels the need to say such things, but she chooses to take the high road, and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight," according to the NY post. The couple share custody of their 15-year-old daughter, named Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown.
