The Cavaliers Have An Easy 2 -0 Play-Off Lead

Just three days from their official start, the NBA play-offs manage to attract massive interest all over the world. One of the most interesting match-ups has to be between the Washington Wizards and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The interest is mainly generated by the spectacular plays made by Cleveland’s leader, LeBron James, who helped his team to a 2-0 lead in this first round. Yesterday, he finished the second game with 30 points, nine rebounds and 12 assists, managing to overcome Washington’s hard-foul approach.

The game ended 116 – 86, being the franchise’s biggest win ever in the playoffs.

According to ESPN, James is ready to handle anything that the Wizards bring to the table: "They're trying to play physical. They're sending double and triple teams. They're trying to get me out of my comfort zone. They're trying to get me to the point where I am frustrated," James said. "I'm mentally prepared as the leader of our team. We're here to win a series; we're not here to talk."

Cavs coach Mike Brown thought of a good way to keep Gilbert Arenas grounded by teaming him up with James. Because of their different sizes, Arenas who is still recovering, shot only 2 of 10. Other wizards also had very bad performances: Antawn Jamison, Caron Butler and Andray Blatche didn’t come close to filling in the gap made by Arena’s lack of inspiration.

The series ends with the first team to win four of seven games, so there is still time for a comeback. The only problem is that a comeback requires a big change in play and also attitude.
