Tell-All Book On Jennifer Lopez Flushed

Jennifer Lopez’s mercantile ex-husband, who was planning to publish a tell-all book about her complete with scandalous details, has lost the book as well as money from his own pocket.

Ojani Noa, Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, whom she divorced after 11 months of marital union, has seen his plans of fame and fortune via the sharing of intimate details from his relationship with J. Lo go up in smoke.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael C. Solner awarded $545,000 Wednesday to Jennifer, after the actress/singer/dancer filed a lawsuit against Noa, requesting that the book not be published.

J. Lo and Noa married in 1997, when the actress’s career was just taking off. Noa was working as a waiter at a Miami restaurant. Eleven months later, it was over.

Noa said his book included spicy details about the first time he and Jennifer made love and about her frequent infidelities. He even claims Jennifer cheated on him with current husband Marc Anthony, while he was married to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres.

Judge Solner’s supported an earlier arbitrator’s decision in the case, which included awarding Jennifer a permanent injunction barring Noa from disclosing information about their relationship for personal advantage.

Jennifer’s lawsuit against Noa, filed in June 2006, claimed that her former spouse violated the terms of a non-disclosure agreement settled in a former unrelated lawsuit. According to E! Online, that settlement brought Noa $125,000.

He reportedly told J. Lo he would not debut his career as a writer with that specific tell-all if she gave him $5 million.

The permanent injunction bars Noa from “criticizing, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement to plaintiff.” Noa has also been ordered to turn over all copies of materials pertaining to the book.

Jennifer will receive a heap of money from Noa: $200,000 in compensatory damages, $300,000 in attorneys' fees and nearly $48,000 in arbitration costs, reports Reuters.

Noa apparently did not lose all dignity over the lawsuit, as he told reporters outside the courtroom that he had “too much class” to try to damage his former wife’s reputation.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony recently saw the release of “El Cantante,” a biopic about salsa singer Héctor Lavoe (interpreted by Anthony). Jennifer interprets his wife Puchi.

The couple is also set to embark on a joint worldwide tour this fall.
