Awww, how sweet! Britney’s younger sis decided to show her support for another celebrity teen mom, Bristol Palin.

In order to show Bristol that she’s not alone in the spotlight, as an unwed pregnant teen, Jamie Lynn Spears sent a present consisting in fancy embroidered baby cloths to the daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Jamie Lynn, who gave birth to Maddie Briann Alridge in June, called Beverly Hills baby boutique Petit Tresor looking for some nice baby clothing, and she chose white burp clothes with pink writing, a spokesman for the store confirmed. The package, accompanied by a note reading “Dear Bristol, hang in there….xoxo, Jamie Lynn,” was then shipped off to the Alaska Capitol building.

The fact that Jamie chose pink for the clothes could mean that she knows more than the media does. As Bristol is five months pregnant she probably knows the sex of the baby already.

“She wanted it in pink. I'm assuming the two have spoken, and she knows it's a girl,” a spokesman for Petit Tresor told Daily News.

Like Bristol, Jamie is only engaged to her baby’s father, Casey Alridge, but the wedding is coming soon. Britney’s younger sister was also the center of attention in the media when it was found out she was pregnant, sparking a lot of discussions about teen pregnancy.

Bristol’s fiancé is Levi Johnston, an 18-year-old high school hockey player whom she had been dating for two years, as Sarah Palin and her husband announced Monday, when they informed the public about their daughter’s pregnancy.

Asked whether her son had been pressed to wed Bristol, Johnston’s mother said the young couple had actually planned to get married before it was known that Bristol was pregnant.
