The former Blink-182 drummer was released from a Los Angeles burn center where he was being treated after surviving the Sept. 19 horrific crash in South Carolina.
Rocker Travis Barker, 32, has been discharged Friday from Grossman Burn Center, where he was hospitalized on Sept. 29 with second- and third-degree burns.
According to the burn center, the tattooed drummer will follow a treatment at home and is expected to make full recovery over a couple of months. Barker has burns on his torso and lower body and disk jockey Adam Goldstein (or DJ AM), who was also in the plane when it crashed, has burns on his arm and part of his head. DJ AM is also believed to fully recover.
"I think I'm getting out of the hospital soon. I can't wait to get out of here and be home with the babes," Baker said while still hospitalized. "The doctors say I'm healing up quickly, and I'm gonna be out of here b4 you know it."
The plane crash claimed the lives of Barker’s bodyguard and assistant and two pilots, authorities said. On Sept. 19, the Learjet 60 was taking off from the Columbia Metropolitan Airport in South Carolina when it left the runway, crashing through light towers and an antenna array previous to crossing a highway and stopping at an embankment.
At first, the rocker was treated in Georgia but at the end of September he was discharged and admitted to the Grossman Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, California.
The authorities are still investigating the Learjet crash.
