Paris Hilton’s life keeps changing and if we were to listen to her side of the story, it’s all for the better. She’s calling it a spiritual awakening.
One might think that things aren’t quite rosy-colored for the 26-year-old heiress. After her record company, Warner Bros, dropped her just two days before she entered jail last week, now her talent agency has done the same.
People magazine quoted spokesperson Michael Donkis Wednesday who announced the Endeaver Talent agency has broken its contract with Paris, without citing a reason. The agency had managed her contract for the reality TV show “The Simple Life,” in which the socialite co-starred with friend and fellow socialite Nicole Richie.
And last but not least, Ms Hilton is in jail for violating probation for reckless and drunk driving. It has been quite scary for the blonde celebrity to stay behind bars and she has even had health problems.
She told ABC talk show host Barbara Walters earlier this week that jail has nevertheless completely changed her. Paris went so far as to say that she has realized jail is where she needs to be at this point in her life and that God was helping her.
“I'm not the same person I was,” the celebrity said. “I used to act dumb. It was an act. I am 26 years old, and that act is no longer cute. God has given me this new chance. God has released me.”
Tuesday was family day for Paris as her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton, visited her at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles for the first time. The three talked through a glass visitors’ wall. Kathy Hilton told reporters her daughter was “very happy.”
