The holidays are almost here, with Christmas being so close that many are actually feeling it. Christmas has always been regarded by most one of the merriest holidays around, sitting near the Christmas tree, exchanging gifts and spending a lot of time with the family.
Every year, TV networks try to offer shows, movies and cartoons that are exactly in this jolly spirit, and even though some are not great or memorable, the effort should be appreciated. It’s something about this time of year that makes people be kinder and more optimistic, maybe because Christmas is associated with snow, and the color white is a symbol for purity.
This year, ABC has to offer to its viewers some pretty good Christmas specials, from which “A Miser Brothers’ Christmas, “Snow 2: Brain Freeze” and “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” make up the most exciting titles. “A Miser Brothers’ Christmas” retells the classic premise of a Christmas were Santa is not present.
In the movie, Santa Claus has a bad back and Heat Miser and Snow Miser take on the challenge of replacing Santa’s duties. The plot is, of course, more intricate but spoiling it would be no fun and definitely not in the spirit of the holidays.
“Snow 2: Brain Freeze” is the sequel of the 2004 “Snow” and it focuses mainly on the same things as all Christmas movies deal with. It seems that joy and optimism are pouring out everywhere we look, be it on TV or in the newspapers and even on the Internet, sites have already started putting on their winter decorations.
