Somebody might have thought to remind everybody in Tucson, Arizona that sports go hand in hand with...sex. And what better moment to choose for that, other than the Super Bowl?!
Therefore, during Sunday’s game, after Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald stroke down the field for a touchdown, Comcast Cable's subscribers were shown male beauty in all its...grandeur. People were able to see a pornographic film for about 30 seconds, revealing a man and a woman sitting on a couch. According to Tucson Citizen the man unexpectedly unzipped his pants, revealing his genitals. Moreover, it seems that the shocked viewers also heard outrageous dialogue from adult cable channel Club Jenna, as if seeing full male frontal nudity was not enough already.
All in all, a Comcast spokeswoman, Jennifer Khoury told the Associated Press that the company was "mortified" by the Super Bowl’s interruption and apologized to their customers, promising that they will continue investigating to get to the bottom of all this, though their initial theory suggests an isolated malicious act.
Comcast did not say exactly how many customers might have seen the porn clip. But to their luck, most of Tucson viewers are served by the Cox cable systems, which did not have any problem.
If you come to think of it, this may be the greatest prank in the history of pranks, despite the fact that is also a felony.
