Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Beautiful Baby Beautiful Name

Let’s hope that Sunday Rose, the daughter of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, will not hate roses or Sundays and will enjoy her name. According to Reuters, Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman gave birth to her first biological child on Monday.

The country music star announced on his website that “Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban” and he thanked everybody who offered their emotional support.

“We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with you today,” said Keith Urban, according to Reuters.

Later in the day, Nicole Kidman’s New York-based publicist announced that the baby weighed 6 pounds, 7 ½ ounces at birth. Both mother and child were doing fine.

In January 2008, the actress announced she was expecting and gave up her on-going project “The Reader.”

Nicole Kidman has two adopted children Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, from the time she was married to Tom Cruise. Also, the actress had a miscarriage in her first marriage. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman were married for about 10 years. They divorced in 2001.

The actress and the country singer met in January 2005 and married in June 2006. In the following October, Keith Urban went to the Betty Ford Clinic to get rid of his substance abuse problem.

Regarding the name of their daughter, Linda Rosenkrantz, co-author of “Cool Names for Babies,” said that Sunday Rose is a good name because it represented peace and serenity and it was melodic. Even though it’s no ordinary name, it remains a normal name.
