It seems that the people who have waited the release of the beta vesion of the latest game in the Street Fighter franchise have faced a little bit of disappointment when they found out that their Xbox 360 version freezes as it tries to connect to online machines.
The beta version of the game promised to allow players to choose their character from Ken or Ryu and then start fighting online. The modes that were supposed to be present in the release where Player Match, Tournament Match and Ranked Match, and the beta version is set to run for about 8 weeks to give the developers some insight to what the game’s bugs are.
Releasing beta versions that the public downloads and tests are good and rather common practices that are used to help developers improve the games they are releasing before the final product hits the market. If the beta version of a game is played by lots of different persons, a more thoroughly check can be carried on if people who find bugs bother to report them to the developers.
It will be interesting to see how this practice will work for Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, since it seems that users can’t play the demo at all, let alone find hidden bugs. Capcom Co., however, doesn’t plan to make another release of the beta version, since it seems that this would cost the company too much.
If you want to try your luck and see if you can play the beta release, then you must buy “Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3” and then you will be allowed to download the demo.
