Steve Wozniak, Apple Co-Founder, Competitor on Dancing with the Stars

Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak apparently decided to take a walk on the wild side and he is now in the cast list of the new season of Dancing with the Stars.

The computer programmer who joined forces with Steve Jobs and founded Apple about 30 years ago was revealed as a Dancing with the Stars competitor as the show’s management made public the cast list of the new season.

The cast list also includes singers Jewel and Belinda Carlisle, rapper Lil' Kim, and Olympic champion gymnast Shawn Johnson. MTV's Jackass Steve-O and actress Denise Richards will also show their dancing skills this season.

The new season of Dancing with the Stars will kick off on March 9.

As for the couples, Jewel will hit the dance floor with her husband, rodeo champ Ty Murray. Julianne Hough, who already won the contests on two occasions, will be joined by her beau, country music singer Chuck Wicks.

“It’s the most diverse cast we’ve had,” Deena Katz, the show’s Senior Talent Producer told People magazine.

“The women are phenomenal and the men are such great characters.”

Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs, who still is Apple’s CEO, founded the company that currently has a huge success in 1987. Although Mr. Wozniak, 59, is not a full-time employee in the company, he is still on the payroll, BBC News reports.
