Stanley Kamel Dies At 65

AccessHollywood.com has reported that Stanly Kamel, the actor who plays Dr. Charles Kroger on “Monk” has died.

The actor was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home and, apparently, the cause of death was a heart attack.

Started in 2002, “Monk” depicts the story of the private detective Adrian Monk (played by Tony Shalhoub), who has to deal with an obsessive-compulsive disorder and multiple phobias. Dr. Kroger, his psychiatrist, is helping Monk to deal with his issues.

Stanley Kamel, who was in his third decade on television, was known also for his roles from TV series such as “Hill Street Blues”, “L.A. Law”, “Melrose Place”, “Beverly Hills 90210”, “Dark Angel”, “General Hospital”, "Star Trek: Next Generation"

He also played the role of the psychiatrist Dr. Graham Lester on the television series “Murder One”. Stanley Kamel made his debut in television as Eric Peters from “Days Of Our Lives”.

Kamel apparead in David Lynch’s "Inland Empire" and, according to IMDB.com, he recently completed filming “The Urn”, a comedy directed by Skip Usen.
