Although there were rumors about how celebrity mother Lynne Spears was allegedly bad-mouthing her daughter Britney in her upcoming memoirs, "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World" is actually a book that will probably bring the two back together. The book, which reveals the true story of the rise and fall and rise again of the Spears family talks about how stardom is usually breaking closed-ones apart, rather than bringing them together.

In an exclusive People magazine excerpt from her new memoir, Lynne, 53, admits that she was no perfect mother to her two daughters, Britney and Jamie Lynn, but then again, what mother is? She says she only tried to do her best at not standing in their way, although sometimes she disapproved of their actions.

“I think you have to let them follow their dreams," she says in a the interview with People. "I think it would be worse in the end if you didn't."

In the much-anticipated book, Lynne Spears talks about some of the most difficult moments of her life, including the first time she felt overwhelmed by the situation, when Britney had her first cover for The Rolling Stones magazine, where she posed wearing only underwear in her bedroom, and a more recent time in her life, when Jamie Lynn handed her a note reading: "Mama, I'm pregnant. I'm going to keep the baby and everything is going to be okay."

These two are the kind that only get things their way, and if celebrity was going to be their destiny, no mother in the world could have stopped them, but Mrs. Spears says that even if she had known her daughter’s destinies, she would have still let them follow her dreams.
