Nintendo Wii has added a new game to its portfolio, as Namco
Bandai announced Soulcalibur Legends exclusively for the new gaming console. The
game, which is a third person action, will take full advantage of Nintendo’s
Wii Remote and Nunchuk.
Namco Bandai said that thanks to Wii Remote and Nunchuk, the
players will be able to perform new movements and combos. The players will earn
honored titles such as Knight or Soldier as you master special attacks acquired
throughout the adventure while battling through diverse stages and environments.
"Over the past ten years, since the release of the
original Soulblade, the team behind the Soulcalibur series has pushed the
envelope of technology and innovation with each iteration," said Makoto
Iwai, Executive Vice President and COO, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.
"With Soulcalibur Legends, they saw the opportunity to once again create
an immersive experience that is unique to the franchise."
Still, Namco Bandai didn’t say anything about a multiplayer
mode, tough it’s one of the series main attraction. The release date of the new
game is set to this winter.
