Another God-given day, another Lindsay Lohan story hits the newspapers. Ever since the freckled little girl made it big in Hollywood, she turned into the troubled teenage celebrity that she is now, with a life of bad break-ups, anorexia, driving under the influence, heavy partying, suspected drug abuse and all.

The latest one from Lohan is something Americans were dreading, ever since golden boy Michael Phelps became the nation’s most wanted man. And apparently, Lohan too wants to see his medals up close and personal as she reportedly got a hold of Phelps’ phone number, and has been texting and phoning constantly. A source says: "It's become a running joke in his camp. Lindsay has been trying to meet up with him. They're both going to the MTV Video Music Awards next month so they'll be sure to see each other properly then."

This is kind of unexpected, even for “mean girl” Lohan, considering her new-found sexual orientation as she allegedly got hot and heavy with gal pal Samantha Ronson, a British DJ currently living in LA. This whole thing led to more drama in the Lohan family, already pretty shaken and caused father Michael to burst out in public with anti Ronson remarks, like this one heard on “The Billy Bush Show”: “Lindsay doesn’t drink or use, has been responsible with her work, she’s been doing a great job — however drinking and using isn’t the only form of addiction, and the relationship that Lindsay has with Samantha is toxic.”

Both girls jumped out of their seats and defended their relationship on several occasions, especially on their Myspace accounts, and kept talking about “being always there for each other,” “meaning the world to one another,” and also, Lindsay called her father a “bully,” so it seemed like this was “Juliet & Juliet,” the lesbian sequel of the classic, but with Phelps in the scene, God only knows how things will turn out.
