Six Little Jolie-Pitts

Yes, yes, more news about Hollywood’s most fascinating couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and it’s baby news too! The actors/humanitarians are indeed having twins!

We can all thank Jack Black for spilling the beans. The comedian and Jolie are currently in France, attending the 61st Cannes Film Festival where their new movie, “Kung Fu Panda,” is set to premiere.

Jolie and Black were being interviewed together by “Today” host Natalie Morales when the actor commented, “You’re gonna have as many as [the] Brady Bunch when you have these.”

Morales missed not the opportunity to ask Jolie whether she was expecting two babies and the actress gracefully replied, “Yeah, yeah, we’ve confirmed that already. Well, Jack’s just confirmed it actually.”

The 32-year-old would not however disclose the gender of her babies, telling Morales, “We would like to keep that private.”

It has long been speculated that the Jolie-Pitts are adding twins to their brood, perhaps a girl and a boy. The couple already has four children, two boys and two girls: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, who turns 2 this month.

Another rumor that has been brewing is that Jolie wishes to give birth to her babies in France, as homage to her late mother’s French roots. Marcheline Bertrand passed away last January, at the age of 56, from ovarian cancer.

Jolie and Pitt dodged pregnancy rumors during the first few months of waistline expansion. The Academy Award winner debuted her baby bump at the Independent Spirit Awards in February. She answered no questions regarding her flourishing belly.

People magazine reports on its website that the family of six has been staying in France at Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's historic Florentine-styled Villa Maryland.

Both Black and Jolie lend their voices to animal characters, Po the Great Panda and Master Tigress, respectively, in the animated film “Kung Fu Panda,” directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne. The film also includes the voices of Seth Rogen, David Cross, Jackie Chan, Dustin Hoffman and Lucy Liu, among others.

It opens in North American theaters June 6.

Jolie also stars in the Clint Eastwood-directed drama “Changeling,” which will premiere in competition at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20.

The full interview in which Black and Jolie reveal the twin-baby news is scheduled to air on the “Today” show Thursday.
