"Voice of an Angel" singer Charlotte Church has another baby “angel” with her rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson at her side! The baby, whose name has not been revealed yet, was born just after midnight at the couple's farmhouse home in the Vale of Glamorgan and weighed 7lb 5oz. The baby came 10 days overdue and was helped through by two midwives who assisted Miss Church’s delivery in a birthing pool.
The news was announced on the happy mom’s website on Sunday. The posting also says that the 22-year-old mother and her new-born son are doing fine.
The couple has a daughter as well, Ruby Megan Henson, who was born in September 2007, then weighing 6lb 10oz. Charlotte and 26-year-old Mr. Henson, announced her second pregnancy last March and also stated that even if they have been together for the last four years, they have no intention to get married any time soon. In spite of that, on the Jonathan Ross show earlier this year Church said she wanted to have at least six children, while Henson, the Swansea-based Ospreys and Wales player said he wanted eight.
Charlotte Maria Church was born on the 21st of February, 1986 in Cardiff, Wales. Her break came when she was 11 when she sang "Pie Jesu" over the telephone on the television show "This Morning" in 1997, followed by her performance on ITV's “Big, Big Talent Show” in 1998. Starting that, she became pop singer-songwriter, actress and television presenter through the years.
