Shia LaBeouf is fine according to Isabel Lucas, his co-star
in “Transformers.” "We're both fine and Shia's fine as well," Lucas
told Access Hollywood. "His hand is healing well."
La Beouf’s injury might be included into the script of
“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," due to the seriousness of the
damage.
The 22-year-old actor suffered from a car accident on July 27
when his green Ford truck flipped after smashing into an oncoming vehicle.
Lucas was in the car with him when this happened. Both escaped with minor
injuries, as did the driver of the other vehicle. He was arrested after the
incident. The police suspected him of drink driving.
Yesterday, the “Indiana Jones” actor was seen walking on the
streets of Los Angeles
with Isabel Lucas by his side.
Detectives have determined that the other driver involved in
the crash is responsible for the crash, not LaBeouf. "He was not at
fault," says L.A. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
The actor had to undergo surgery on his left hand to repair
damage from the accident. The actor's representatives have categorically denied
that he may have to have his pinky finger amputated because of the injury to
his hand.
Lucas, 23, finally spoke about the crash at actress Hayden
Panetierre's Whaleman Foundation Benefit in Hollywood. Isabel's mother, Beatrice Lucas
was left to give information about the actors’ condition after the crash.
Shia LaBeouf was ranked Number 24 on Entertainment Weekly's
'30 under 30' actors list in 2008.
