"Transformers" star, Shia LaBeouf, got himself arrested early Sunday in Chicago after refusing to leave a local store, disregarding a security guard’s suggestion.
According to CBS, the 21-year-old actor was repeatedly told by a security guard that he wasn’t welcomed to a Walgreens in Chicago because he appeared to be intoxicated. When he refused to leave, the security guard detained him and contacted Near North District police, who took him into custody at around 2:30 a.m. LaBeouf was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing and is set to appear in court on November 28.
Despite his initial refusal to leave the store, police said that after his arrest, LaBeouf was "very courteous and polite," and he posted bond before 7 a.m. Looking on the bright side, at least he’s responsible enough not to drink and drive.
LaBeouf recently finished shooting "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," which is due in May next year, alongside Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and Ray Winstone.
Most recently, a man who tried to sell stolen images and computers from the set of the movie has pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property and commercial burglary.
