Shaun White’s Snowboarding Featured In Shaun White Snowboarding

Video game developer and publisher Ubisoft announced the release of the game Shaun White Snowboarding, which was produced with the help of Olympic Gold Medalist and eight-time X Games Gold Medalist, Shaun White.

The game, powered by Assassin’s Creed engine, promises a world of total freedom and a brand new experience for all the game’s enthusiasts, presenting a unique storyline quest with the Olympic winner. The trip initially begins in Canada, then to Chile, to a spot in the Alps, then heads to Japan and then finally the journey ends in Park City, Utah.

Shaun White Snowboarding will allow players to decide how, where and with whom they prefer to ride. For the ones who prove themselves worthy, White can also be unlocked and used as a playable character.

In order to finish the game, players will have to earn fame points and respect points. The fame is earned by winning competitions and challenges and it will help gamers unlock resorts and new locations, while the respect points received from your friends, after discovering a hidden area, will unlock new songs and scrapbook items.

Ubisoft tried at the best of its ability to capture the movement’s culture, focusing on the attitude, the music and the language. Shaun White was also involved in choosing the tracks and at least 20 songs will be present in the final version.

The game will be put out on the market starting this summer and it will be available for Play Station 3, Wii, Xbox 360 and also PC.
