Hollywood star Sharon Stone has responded to recent reports in the media that she had recommended Botox injections for a foot odor problem her 8-year-old son had, denying the claims.

The “Basic Instinct” actress did not succeed in having son Roan, 8, move to Los Angeles with her, as a San Francisco court ruled last month that former husband Phil Bronstein “shall have permanent sole physical custody of child.”

Court papers show that the judge handling the case ruled that Bronstein’s home was more stable and structured and thus guaranteed a better environment for the child. Bronstein, and now Roan, reside in San Francisco.

Sharon Stone lives in Los Angeles and she had requested that the boy spend more of the school year with her. The judge’s ruling means that an already existing custody arrangement between the former spouses remains in place.

Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein, a newspaper executive, married in 1998 in what appeared to be a match made in heaven. The union unfortunately ended in divorce six years later but complications arose, as the two had adopted little Roan.

Stone later adopted two more sons, Laird, 4, and Quinn, 2, in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

The judge said Roan’s moving to Los Angeles would entail an “overwhelming sense of loss.” The little boy can currently visit his mother one or two weekends a month during the school year.

What attracted media attention was the judge’s harsh description of Stone as a mother, whom she called an over-reacting parent and also gave examples of situations when she had been thus: saying the little boy had a spinal condition, when it was found he didn’t, and recommending that he get Botox injections to solve a foot odor issue.

A lawyer for the actress responded to the reports Thursday, denying them vigorously.
