As the release date for "Sex and the City: The Movie" grows closer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, reunited at a benefit for the Point Foundation at Capitale on Monday in New York City.
The Point Foundation celebrates current and future champions of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community.
The four lovely ladies got together on the red carpet squealing happily as they saw each other while posing for photographers.
"On the set, we eventually got used to seeing each other, so we didn’t scream as much," Parker told reporters while Cattrall added, "It’s like champagne. It’s intoxicating. My heart flutters a little bit."
At the dinner, Nixon received the Point Courage Award in honor of her work on stage/film/television, her commitment to education and her courage and support of the LGBT community.
"It was just a real honor to be considered a role model. The more I met these young people; it’s just very inspiring to know that the Point Foundation is there for them.” Nixon said, then started speaking about the upcoming SATC movie (out May 30), “It was such a period in all our lives. And we thought it was all over, and to go back to it was amazing!”
The 41-year-old actress, who is currently dating education activist Christine Marinoni, has two children from a previous relationship with longtime boyfriend Danny Mozes.
