The “Sex and the City” movie is getting closer and closer.
It’s a little bit too early to buy popcorn, but you can never be too sure,
mostly because everyone will be at the premiere. No, I’m not getting “Carried away” when I say
that May 30 is going to be “Sex and the City” day, as the movie releases in the
U.S.
I mean, think about it, if the television series hadn't been so successful, they wouldn’t have made a movie after the serial.
People were asking for it, they were secretly hoping for another chance to see
how the four “fabulous” women were doing.
We were all wondering if Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) was
still with Mr. Big (Chris Noth), if Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) was handling the
mom-wife-lawyer job, if Charlotte, (Kristen Davis) the optimist, was happy with
her family and if Samantha (Kim Cattrall) was spending her nights with the same
good-looking Hollywood actor.
We’ve certainly missed the girls. And, moreover, I’m sure
that men also liked the T.V series and, for once, they would actually enjoy to
follow their girlfriends to a, so- called, “chick” movie because it’s not a
chick movie. The situations are very realistic, the characters are easy to
relate to, the clothes and shoes are fabulous and the actors are really good.
The “Sex and the City” movie will be a win-win situation. I’m
sure it will rise up to everyone’s expectations.
