Scarlett Johansson is one of the most appreciated actresses of the new generation of actors that took Hollywood almost by force. The press is usually not too kind to a naïve-looking blonde actress with luscious lips and enticing curves – and they clearly didn’t cut Johansson any slack last summer.
Back in June, Scarlett Johansson made the mistake of publicly admitting that she had had a personal e-mail exchange with then-Democrat Presidential candidate and current President-elect Barack Obama. Her innocent recount of an e-mail exchange with the former presidential candidate was published in an article bearing the name “Actress Has A Crush On Obama,” in the magazine Harper’s Bazaar, in the February issue. Johansson thought the title was sexist, not to mention the comments it received and the reaction of the public opinion, which went as far as criticizing Johansson for wanting to ruin Obama’s marriage with Michelle.
Scarlett Johansson also talked about her private life, a thing she rarely opens up about, as she cherishes privacy and intimacy. She talked about the relationship with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, with who she has been married for a few months. In her own words, “I feel like everything is really normal, it’s calm and natural, like the way it should be,” she said. “I have no perspective on it because it’s been such a short time. I would never try to profess some knowledge that I discovered. I’m happy and it feels very regular, which is good.”
