Scarlett Johansson Blows Her Nose for Charity

One of Scarlett Johansson's used tissues is being offered for sale on auction website eBay, on behalf of hunger-relief organization USA Harvest.

During her latest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Scarlett Johansson complained about a cold she had caught while filming her new movie, The Spirit, and blamed her co-star Samuel L. Jackson for passing it onto her. She added that the cold was the union of two big stars, so the tissue is of undoubtedly high value. Thereafter, she thought it might be a great idea if she sold it for a good cause. “We’re feeding people, and we’re draining my sinuses!” she laughed. “It’s a good thing.”

The auction ends on Monday at 6:35 p.m. and it has already raised the ridiculous amount of over $ 20 000!!!
How about, instead of bidding on a piece of garbage (as glamorous as it may be the star-DNA-stain on it), you just donate directly to the cause—in Johansson’s name, if you like! But to actually buy a used hankie?! Really, how disgusting is that?

USA Harvest is the largest volunteer feeding organization in the United States.  It operates in 129 cities and provides two million meals a day.  During her involvement with the organization, the actress has provided over 9 million meals.

This is not the first time that the Hollywood actress sells something strange. In March a fan paid £20,000, which went to Oxfam, for a 20-minute date with her.
