Sarah Palin’s Medical History Released

Monday night, a letter from Sarah Palin’s doctor was made public, reading that the vice-presidential nominee is in excellent health and has not suffered from any major medical conditions throughout her life.

The two-page, seven-paragraph document comprises the first pieces of information concerning Palin’s health that have been released since she had been chosen by GOP’s nominee for U.S. president John McCain to be his running-mate in this year’s elections.

The document, dated November 3, was been sent by Dr. Cathy Baldwin-Johnson from the Providence Health and Services Alaska clinic in Anchorage and it further reveals that the aforementioned state’s governor has been a patient to the clinic for seventeen years now, her visits being related to pregnancy or routine women’s health care.

Baldwin-Johnson wrote that back in 1992, Sarah Palin had undergone a breast biopsy for a lesion that was consequently identified as benign. Moreover, the doctor informed that the Republican was not taking any prescription meds and did not suffer from any drug allergies, deeming her perfectly capable of taking on the responsibilities that the vice-president of the United States position entailed.

Sarah Palin, 44, has given birth to five children, sons Track (born 1989) and Trig ( 2008) and daughters Bristol (1990), Willow (1995) and Piper (2001). Concerning her 2008 birth, Dr. Baldwin-Johnson stated that the pregnancy had carried no other risk than the the mother’s age factor.

On August 29, 2008, senior United States Senator from Arizona John McCain announced he had chosen Palin as his running mate in the 2008 presidential elections, while she was formally nominated by the GOP at the 2008 Republican National Convention in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
