Lindsay Lohan’s girlfriend Samantha Ronson came to the actress’ defense after a PETA member pelted Lohan with a flour bomb when she arrived at a Paris nightclub wearing a fur stole.
"I'm pissed at the bag of flour thrown on Lindsay last night" wrote Ronson on her blog today. She added that the PETA member who doused Lohan "acted liked an animal herself" and that it was actually an "insult to animals to group her in with them."
“My dog is FAR more civilized than that person," 31-yea-old Ronson wrote.
Ronson went so far as to say that PETA should thank celebrities who wear fur because the fur-wearing stars are the only ones keeping the agency relevant.
“PETA should focus their efforts on educating people on what they believe are injustices instead of seeking press via harassing those in the limelight,” Ronson blogged. She added that she does not wear fur, but she does not feel she has the right to attack those who do.
The incident happened on the Champs Elysees while the 22-year-old "Mean Girls" star was on her way to enter the VIP Room, a glamorous Paris night club. The owner of the VIP Room reportedly dusted the flour off of Lohan before she and Ronson entered the night club.
Ronson, who is with Lohan for over a year now, said that she would respect anti-fur activists more if they stop finger pointing at the celebrities who wear fur and instead start using words and ideas to change the situation.
