Mexican actress Salma Hayek reportedly tied the knot on Valentine's Day with her French lover Francoise-Henri Pinault, in a civil ceremony in Paris. The Oscar-nominated actress and the French magnate, who briefly broke off their engagement last year, wed at the City Hall in Paris' chic 6th arrondissement on Saturday, an official told The Associated Press. The wedding was a small affair, said the official, who was speaking on condition of anonymity, in accordance with policy.
The two met in Italy in 2006, announced their engagement and had a baby, Valentina Paloma, in September 2007.
Hayek, 42, was nominated for an Oscar in 2003 for the film "Frida," the biography of the painter Frida Kahlo, which she produced and starred in. She is one of the executive producers of the hit series "Ugly Betty" and is also the chief executive of Ventanazul, a production company she formed with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. Nowadays Salma is currently guest-starring on NBC hit sitcom “30 Rock” as a woman involved with super-wealthy TV executive Jack Donaghy, played by Alec Baldwin.
Pinault, 46, is the CEO of PPR, a luxury good firm that own Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, a french department store and national music chain. He has two other children from a previous marriage.
