Ryan Seacrest lures not only audience, but also sharks. The
“American Idol” host related the listeners of his Los Angeles KIIS-FM morning radio
program on Monday that he was taking a swim in the ocean over
the weekend, when he bumped into a shark that ferociously attacked his toe.
According to Ryan Seacrest, he was swimming “about eight
feet out” from the shore, in water with a depth of about 4 feet. Moreover, he
said that he felt something swim by, which at first he believed to be a stick.
Nonetheless, it soon proved to be more than a stick, because it bit him. “It
swam up to me, and it took a bite, and then he left,” the TV host explained.
Seacrest, 33, depicted the shark as being about the size of
a cat and added that the marine creature’s bite left three small holes in his
toe. Although he did not conceal the fact that he was in pain, Seacrest’s wound
was not too serious, but he “needed to take an Advil.”
The shark also “offered” the “American Idol” host a
souvenir, leaving one of its teeth in Seacrest’s toe in order to remind him of
the incident. However, “[the tooth] wasn’t a great thing to find. It was like
finding a splinter!”
In spite of the fact that “there were like 1,000 people in
the ocean,” Ryan Seacrest was the perfect lure for the shark. Is it bad luck or
just charisma?
