Ryan O’Neal Admits His Guilt In Drug Charges

On Friday, the famous actor Ryan O’Neal pleaded guilty on drug related charges. Last year, Ryan O’Neal was charged on felony possession of methamphetamine after the police searched his Malibu home.
 
The police action was the result of the fact that O’Neal son was on probation following a guilty plea in June 2008 for felony drug possession and misdemeanor driving under the influence.
 
The police discovered methamphetamine in both of their bedrooms and Redmond was charged also with possessing drug paraphernalia and pepper spray.  However, his case was postponed until February 20.
 
Ryan O'Neal must complete a 18 months of drug counseling, In case he fails to complete the program, he faces other penalties. If he successfully completes the program, the charges will be dropped.
 
Ryan O’Neal has become famous in the 60’s after playing the role of 21-year-old rancher's son Tal Garrett in NBC series, “Empire”.In 1971, Ryan O’Neal was nominated at Best Actor Academy Awards, for his role in “Love Story”. However, the movie which has seven nomination won an Oscar, but for Best Music, Original Score.
 
In 1972, Ryan O’Neal was the second highest grossing movie star, but his career has fade away in the next years.Recently, he had a guessed role in TV series “Bones”, as the father of  Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan.
 
In 2001, Ryan O’Neal was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia. As of 2006, it is in remission.
