The rumors circulating last week which said that Tom Brady proposed to Gisele Bundchen on a private jet and she accepted were nothing but a bunch of…well…rumors.

It did sound fairy-tale like: the superstar golden boy quarterback proposing to his supermodel girlfriend on board a private plane on Christmas Eve. According to the rumors, the plane had taken off from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and landed in Boston.

Brady's father, Tom Brady Sr. said that it’s just not true, hollyscoop.com reported.

"Rumor, rumor, rumor ... We don't know a thing about it. Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say," Brady Sr. told The Boston Globe.

And as if this was not enough, there are some media reports according to which Gisele, the highest-paid model in the world, was spotted walking without wearing an engagement ring.

Gisele Bundchen is a Brazilian model who, according to Forbes, is the sixteenth richest woman in the entertainment world. She reportedly earned $33 million in 2007 and $35 million in 2008. She has an estimated fortune of $150 million.

She made it into the Guiness Book of World Records as the world’s riches supermodel.

Her boyfriend, Tom Brady, is a NFL quarterback who plays for the New England Patriots. He is regarded as one of the best quarterbacks of all time.
